There is presently a local assigned 6 days per week excluding Sunday, to operate Marysville to Bestwall Gypsum Company, Bestwall, Kansas. How­ever, under existing conditions, the plant does not generally overate on Saturday and the assignment is annulled for that day.

 

Locals have been assigned to operate through Marysville consistent with agreement rules. How­ever, it is now desired to assign the local to operate out Of Marysville under provisions Of Rule 58, "Combination Switch and Road Service" of the agreement between the Union Pacific Railroad Company, Eastern District, and the Order of Rail­way Conductors & Brakemen and Brotherhood of Rail­road Trainmen, effective November 1, 1957.

 

In the event the local performs switching in the Marysville Yard the crew will be compensated in accordance with provisions of Rule 32.

 

Brakemen will be compensated and come within the provisions of the agreement dated September 7, 1961 between the Union Pacific Railroad Company, Eastern District, and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen covering modification of Rule 58.

 

This agreement will become effective March 3, 1963 and will automatically terminate 10 days

after service of notice by either of the parties upon the others of desire to terminate it.
