Dear Sir:
Referring to your July 14, 1977 letter requesting an agreement
that pool freight turns in the Cheyenne-Hanna ID pool be bulletined:
IT IS AGREED:
Section 1. All
pool freight turns in the Cheyenne-Hanna ID pool will be bulletined and the
senior bidders assigned. When no bids are received for a conductor vacancy the
junior conductor of the district will be assigned. When no bids are received
for a brakeman vacancy the junior brakeman working in road service will be
assigned.
Section 2. Temporary
vacancies occurring on any of se turns will be filled in accordance with the
extra board agreement.
Section 3.
Permanent vacancies and additional turns will be bulletined in accordance with
bulletin rules.
Section 4. Employes assigned to the Cheyenne-Hanna pool may
not change assignments within that pool but may bid on other regular
assignments or may move to new turns or permanent vacancies in another pool. In
moving to another pool, application to move must be on
file with the crew dispatcher and local chairman for not less than 5 days prior
to moving.
Section 5.
Except as specifically provided herein these assignments will be considered
pool freight service and will be governed by pool freight service rules.
Section 6. This agreement will become effective September
16, 1977, and may be terminated upon service
of 10 days written notice by either party signatory hereto.
