MODIFICATION OF RULES 53 & 54, CURRENT B. OF L.E.

SCHEDULE AND RULES 65 & 66, CURRENT B. OF L.F.&E.

It is agreed that the provisions of Rules 53 and 54, current engineers' agreement, and Rules 65 and 66, current firemen's agreement, are hereby modified with respect to application on the Fifth Seniority District to the extent herein provided.

Pool freight crews who are runaround by other pool freight crews enroute between home and far terminal will, upon arrival at far terminal, be given same relative position on the list as held prior to leaving home terminal, and pool freight crews who are runaround by other pool freight crews enroute between far and home terminal will, upon arrival at home terminal, be given same relative position on the list as held prior to leaving home terminal on last trip, subject to the following exceptions:

Pool freight crews making turnaround trip out of home terminal or out of far terminals, or when tied up between terminals and getting their rest, will take position on list as per arrival at terminal, except that pool freight crews making turnaround trip Laramie to Hanna or east of Hanna, or turnaround trip Laramie to Speer and/or Borie or west of Speer and/or Borie, or who are allowed a minimum day's pay for service performed at Laramie, will stand first out at Laramie twelve hours after released from duty, but may be called in turn after eight hours rest to avoid being run around.

The Company will not be penalized in any way in the application of this agreement.

This agreement is effective June 1, 1959 and will automatically terminate ten days after service of written notice by any of the parties upon the others of desire to terminate it, at which time the schedule rules affected by this agreement will again be in full force and effect.
