Dear Sir:

This has reference to the attached Agreement dated December 29, 1981, "Modification of Rule 53 (a) First-In, First-Out For the Fifth Seniority District Only" and Side Letter Number 4, Section 12 of the Cheyenne - Green River Agreement.

Because of the changing times and the day-to-day operations, the Agreements noted above and attached no longer effectively serve any operational and crew handling purpose. Therefore, this will serve as your ten (10) day cancellation notice which will be effective March 13, 1998.

In conjunction herewith, this notice will also serve as the cancellation notice of the same agreement provision provided in Side Letter Number 4 of the Cheyenne - Green River Interdivisional Agreement, Section 12, which will also terminate effective March 13, 1998.

Accordingly, Fifth District pool Engineers, including the Cheyenne - Green River Fifth and Sixth District pool Engineers will be governed under basic Schedule of Rule 53 as are the other Eastern District seniority districts.
