RULE 43. MEAL PERIOD. (a) Yard engineers will be allowed 20 minutes for lunch between 4-1/2 and 6 hours after starting work, without deduction in pay.

(b) Yard engineers will not be required to work longer than 6 hours without being allowed 20 minutes for lunch, with no deduction in pay for time therefor.

(c) Yard engineers required to work through two shifts, or to work overtime beyond 2 hours on first shift, will be allowed reasonable time for meal without deduction in pay.
