READ YOUR INVESTIGATION RULE CAREFULLY

We would like to conduct an investigation under this rule: No employee will be disciplined, suspended, or discharged without a fair and impartial investigation; requiring specific charges; specifying all interested parties will be notified to attend; and concluding no entry will be made if reasonable doubt exists.

But each of us has to conduct a hearing under his own rule, and one should be cognizant of the benefits and especially the restrictions of his rule.

The Adjustment Board has said with one voice:

It is to the best interests of both parties to comply with such an important rule as the Investigation Rule in every respect.
