RULE 85-

APPROVAL OF APPLICANTS

The applications of employees entering the service will be approved or rejected within ninety days. When applicant is not notified to the contrary within ninety days it will be understood his application is approved; but, this rule shall not operate to prevent removal from the service of such applicant if it should later develop that he gave false information 'in his application for employment, provided such action is taken by the Company within three years from the date of application. An employee whose application has been approved will not be dismissed from service under the provisions of this rule without formal hearing if he so requests.
